four round winter dh race is go!!!

For all you die hard racers out there were holding a four round winter DH race series to hold back the winter blues and get you guys out of the house!!! Again we'll be offering cash prizes for the fastest riders in all categories BC ranking points and prizes for the overall winners, all held in relaxed atmosphere ideal for those wishing to sample racing for the first time. All the races will be held over one day (so no camping in the cold!!), the uplift vehicles will be on holiday for the winter so it will be push up only - lets see who's got the best fitness?

Format on the Day: 08.00 am - Sign-in and course open to inspection by foot, 09.00 am - Sign-in on the day (if available) closes, 9.30 am - Practice starts, 12.00 pm - Sign-in closes, 12.30 pm - Practice ends, 1.00 pm - Racing starts, 4.00 pm - Racing finishes, (can go on a little longer) 4.30 pm - Prize giving Times can variety due to weather etc.

Late payment charge applies from 1pm on the Friday before the race and also for sign in on the day so pre booking highly recommended!!! We'll have the cafe in full swing producing only the finest warm food and drinks to keep you happy (as well as mum's cake...) Remember to bring your wellies and winter warms!! £20 per rider/cat - late payment or on the day £30

UPLIFT 30th august

The nights are drawing in and we're getting close to end of our events for the 2009 season - we have a special uplift this weekend, we're giving you an extra hour of uplifting for free (the uplift will stop at 5.30pm rather than 4.30pm) plus there'll be a BRAND NEW track to ride called 'Tsubo' - this will be the race track for the final round of our winter series DH on 27th Sept. Also.............. IT'S WAYNE'S BIRTHDAY - SO DON'T TELL ANYONE!!!!!!

Refreshments hot/cold will be available all day including the amazing 'mum's cake' Sign in from 9am, uplifting starts at 10am, 1-2pm lunch then finish at [b]5.30pm[/b]. Car parking in the field next to the cafe and uplift drop off.

Member uplift £20 - non member uplift £25 - If you are a non member the price includes you day pass. Online booking is the only way to prepay/book - pre booking highly recommended as often the uplifts are booked out (we don't like turning people away!)
