UkBikepark is a rider built Mountain bike nonprofit club modelled on the North American style bike park. We manage a mountain bike riding area on leased Forestry Commission land. The Park is run by it's members with the aim of promoting MTB'ing by providing a progressive, quality venue catering to riders of all abilities. Boasting seven downhill courses, National standard 4x Track, North shore trail, a massive wooden start platform, The Dakine Ladder Ally (sponsored freeride trail) plus a host of dirt jumps and other features there's almost too much to ride in one visit.

Ukbikepark is keen to support local riders, community's and company's. Next year we'll be sponsoring a handful of young local talented riders supporting their dream to compete at national level races. We sponsor the local sports festival and have been approached by the Police/Council/Schools to help give troubled youths a creative outlet. All our fresh produce is sourced from local suppiers as is many other products including milled timber and building supplies.

2009 Student champs will be held at the park this year which will for the first time incorporate DH racing with uplift, XC racing & flood lite 4X racing. This promises to be a huge event with over 800 riders and spectators both competing and camping onsite.

DH Race series will have 5 rounds at the park all held on differant tracks with cash prizes, BC ranking points + other prizes from sponsors, efficient uplift service available from Saturday. Camping available from Friday of the weekend with onsite cafe and loos. Towards the end of the season we hope to holding an urban race - more details to follow later next year.

4X Racing will be held on our own NPS standard track with 4 rounds to compete for cash prizes, BC ranking points + other prizes from sponsors. Camping available from Friday of the weekend with onsite cafe and loos.

Public uplift days are held throughout the year both on separate weekends or on DH race weekends using our fleet of ex Military vehicles and bike specific trailers that won't scratch your bike to transport riders back to the top of the park. We have a capacity of moving 110 riders & bikes to the top of the hill every 20 mins. There's no competition, it's just for fun with the Uplift taking place over one day.

Other events are Mixed in with our races and uplifts we also try to host visiting race series, demo days, product launches and other promotions by industry related companies private VIP uplifts, fun races, camping weekends and big build days. Dakine for example hired the Uplift service for the day to provide a free uplifts for up to 350 riders, also the park provided the final venue to the 2008 4x National points series, a weekend event open to some 200 participants.
