Dakine have sponsored our impressive North Shore jump trail Ladder Ally & have kindly paid one for a uplift meaning anyone can ride the uplift this weekend for free!!! Ladder Ally has been the centre of some monstrous construction work over last few weeks culminating in a new line which features several mini quarter pipes a kicker and ladder bridge!! We'll also be spinning up some tunes and cranking out the food and uplift all day - GO RIDE!!!!!

A few points to remember...
*ALL Under 18s must have an adult to sign them in on the day and take responsibility for them whilst on site.
*Helmets must be worn by all riders (Full face and body armour highly recommended!)
*All non-members must still pay £5 for a day pass to ride in the park.
*Uplift Passes must be correctly displayed (folded around gear or brake line on front of bike, just below bars), you'll not be allowed to board uplift vehicles without a correctly displayed pass. Day passes are not accepted as uplift passes.
*Do not waste your time, our time and everybody else's trying to get on the Uplift without a valid pass.
*Ride within limits of your ability, walk and inspect any trail features you are unfamiliar with, taking care not to obstruct the trail and be a danger to other riders.
*DO NOT PUSH UP TRAILS! Use the push up routes provided.
*If you need to stop on the trail for any reason, then do so in a place where you will not obstruct other riders.
*Please report any safety issues to a park volunteer or at the Cabin.
*DO NOT DROP LITTER (if found doing so you'll be banned from enjoying the park in the future)
*Have fun, be courtious and stay safe on the trails....

The race was summer ace!! Round two of our summer Downhill series was hot a dry and saw over one hundred riders test there skills and nerve against the hill. The choice of using Dark Side which was revamped to make the course far more techincally challanging yet enjoyable provied to be very popular but also although problimatic for some riders. We also used the new start platform for the first time providing every rider with an easy start. Great times where posted all day with very close racing within the catagories, Prof Ben Deakin posting the fasted time of 1:34.052 - the usual suspect of Andrew Payne on a cracked(!) hardtail coming 5th overall and winning his catagorie with a time of 1:38.775. Thanks to all those people who are always there giving up there free time to make it happen and to SIX SIX ONE & Royal Racing for some great prizes. Looking forward to round three............. it could be a real DEVIL of a race..............!!

1Your bike must not have cost more than £7.50
2.The wheels must be NO LARGER than 16inches
